Job Description

Note: Look for the candidate who are working in

automotive industry or have done the projects on Automotive side.

Shoudl have experince as a Team Lead

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Define hardware architecture for embedded systems (microcontrollers/processors, peripherals, interfaces, power systems).
  2. Hardware Architecture & Design:

    Lead schematic capture for complex multi-layer PCBs (high-speed digital, analog, mixed-signal, RF), component selection, power systems, and sensor integration.
  3. Lead PCB Development:

    Collaborate with layout engineers
  4. Provide Technical Leadership:

    Mentor junior engineers, make critical technical trade-offs (cost / performance / power / schedule) , and represent hardware in cross-functional teams (SW, Mech, PM, QA).
  5. Documentation & Process:

    Create/maintain schematics, BOMs, test reports, firmware APIs. Establish/enforce hardware development best practices using version control (Git).

Essential Skills:

  1. Experience in Automotive industry
  1. Proven mastery in schematic design & simulation (Altium, Cadence).
  2. Deep understanding of microcontrollers/MPUs (ARM Cortex-M/A, RISC-V), peripherals, buses, and memory systems.
  3. Implement

    ISO 26262

    -compliant designs (ASIL-B/C/D) with hardware safety mechanisms (watchdogs, redundancy).
  4. Review multi-layer rigid-flex PCBs for

    vibration/shock-resistant

    systems
  5. Execute

    DVP&R

    (Design Validation Plan) for temperature cycling (-40 C to +125 C), humidity, and thermal shock.
  6. Lead

    EMC pre-compliance testing

    (radiated/conducted immunity, ESD per ISO 10605).
  7. Debug field failures using

    automotive-specific tools

    (CANoe, oscilloscopes with protocol decoders).
  8. Experience with high-speed digital design, signal/power integrity analysis, and EMC mitigation.
  9. Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
  10. Solid grasp of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, Ethernet).
  11. Experience with safety/regulatory standards (UL, CE, FCC, IEC 62304, ISO 26262)

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with wireless technologies (BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, Cellular).
  2. Power electronics design (SMPS, battery management).
  3. FPGA/CPLD design (VHDL/Verilog).
