Embedded Engineer

Embedded Hardware Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Develop new products and product updates that meet the needs of end users by considering input from internal and external stakeholders and market forces.
• Manage the steps of the hardware design and development lifecycle, including budgeting, production cost maintenance and reduction, and deadline management.
• Build and optimize Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) firmware.
• Create schematics, draft blueprints, and design prototypes for new products and components.
• In-depth knowledge on Ethernet, communication (I2C, SPI, RS232, USB, CAN)
• Documentation for products and systems.
• Engage in professional development to keep updated with current technological advances, as well as governmental and sector-specific regulations and best practices.

Embedded Hardware Engineer Skills/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming, communication hardware and software design, and engineering principles
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and nontechnical backgrounds
• Ability to anticipate, detect, and address problems with product design.
• Knowledge of using CAD tools for schematic and Layout like Cadence, AltiumProduct and project management skills, including budgeting and deadline management
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Customer focus & Multitasking

Preferred Additional skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages, like C/C++ and/or Verilog/VHDL.
• Familiar with industry regulations in India, like ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and RoHS.
• Knowledge of hardware regulatory requirements, such as FCC, CE and MIL Standards.
