E&M Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design & Development

• Plan, design, and implement electrical and mechanical systems for projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

• Maintenance & Operations

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure minimal downtime of equipment and systems.

• Project Management

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to local codes, standards (IEC, IEEE, ASME), and safety regulations.
• Implement energy efficiency and sustainability practices.

• Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, test results, and system upgrades.
• Provide technical reports and recommendations to management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  electrical systems

  (power distribution, control panels, motors, PLCs).
• Expertise in

  mechanical systems

  (HVAC, pumps, compressors, rotating equipment).
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation software.
• Familiarity with

  safety standards

  and regulatory compliance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting ability.
• Effective communication and project coordination skills.

• Design & Implementation

• Develop and review electrical and mechanical system designs, schematics, and layouts.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment and systems.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical assets.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.

• Project Coordination

• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with specifications.

• Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to local codes, standards (IEC, IEEE, ASME), and safety regulations.
• Implement energy efficiency and sustainability measures.

• Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
