ELK Engineering Lead

As a proficient ELK Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana) solutions to create and manage large-scale elastic search clusters in Production and DR environments. Your primary focus will be on designing end-to-end solutions with a keen eye on performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop prototypes and adopt agile and DevOps practices to align with the product delivery lifecycle. Your role will involve automating processes using relevant tools and frameworks, collaborating with Infrastructure and development teams for capacity planning and deployment strategies to achieve highly available and scalable architecture. You should have a strong command over the ELK technology stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, and hands-on experience managing large applications in production environments. Proficiency in Python, familiarity with Elasticsearch Painless scripting language, and experience with Linux/Unix operating systems are essential requirements. In addition, you should be proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, scripting technologies, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, ITIL, Agile, Jira, Confluence, and security best practices. Your expertise should extend to applications/infrastructure logging and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus. Configuration, maintenance, tuning, administration, and troubleshooting of Elasticsearch clusters in a cloud environment will be within your scope of responsibilities. Your skills should include experience with Elastic cluster architecture, design, and deployment, a strong understanding of JSON data ingest, and Agile development practices. Proficiency in source control using Git and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with DevOps, Product, and Project Management teams are crucial.
