Electrician

ob Overview:

The Electrician at VGP Heritage will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of all electrical systems across the heritage property. This includes maintaining traditional-style lighting, event power setups, kitchen and HVAC systems, and supporting various functions and celebrations hosted at the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, switches, wiring, and sockets.
• Support event setups by arranging temporary lighting, sound systems, and power supply for functions, weddings, and cultural programs.
• Maintain kitchen equipment, exhaust fans, water heaters, and cold storage units used during events.
• Monitor and service air conditioning systems and outdoor lighting across heritage areas and landscaped zones.
• Respond quickly to power failures, short circuits, or equipment breakdowns during live events or high-footfall periods.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth execution of heritage events.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain inventory of electrical spares and update usage logs and service records.
• Suggest energy-saving practices and identify areas for electrical system upgrades or modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or heritage property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of heritage lighting systems, kitchen appliances, and HVAC controls.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow structured maintenance plans.
• Good troubleshooting skills and quick response in emergency situations.
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during events.

Work Environment:

• Work involves both indoor and outdoor duties across the VGP Heritage campus.
• Must be able to work in traditional setups without disturbing aesthetics.
• Physically demanding role involving climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
