We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, and control systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading blueprints, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety and electrical codes. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices.Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical schematics to determine wiring layouts.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Use a variety of testing devices, such as ohmmeters and voltmeters, to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
• Repair or replace faulty or outdated electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures.
• Install and connect electrical control and distribution equipment, including switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Install and run conduit pipe to protect and route electrical wiring.
• Adhere to all local and national electrical codes, safety standards (such as OSHA), and building regulations.
• Complete work orders and documentation of all services performed, repairs made, and materials used.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
• Supervise and train apprentice electricians, when applicable.
• Respond to emergency service calls for electrical malfunctions and power outages.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certificate from a technical college is preferred.
• Training: Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Experience: Proven work experience as an electrician in a relevant environment (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial).
• Licensing: Valid state-issued electrician's license is required.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Core Competencies:
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety protocols.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and work in confined spaces.
• Certifications:
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., in renewable energy, specific control systems) are a plus.
• A valid driver's license is often required for travel to different worksite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,410.64 - ₹15,000.00 per month
