Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Installation:
Install electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, and apparatus in buildings or facilities.
Repair & Maintenance:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and components to maintain functionality and safety.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and fix electrical malfunctions, safety hazards, and system breakdowns.
Compliance:
Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC), state and local building regulations, and company safety procedures.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours billed.
System Testing:
Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning after installation or repair.

Preferred candidate profile

Education/Training:
A technical high school certificate or diploma in electrical systems, or training through a formal apprenticeship program.
Experience:
Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Tool Proficiency:
Skillful use of various electrical tools and electronic test equipment.
Safety Awareness:
A commitment to safety procedures and a thorough knowledge of safety management.
