Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at Insteel Engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at our manufacturing units, project sites, and office facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment as per industry standards.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to understand electrical layouts.
• Handle installation and maintenance of industrial machines, control panels, and motor circuits.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades as needed for project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work done, materials used, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety trainings and toolbox talks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to work from heights and in industrial settings.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, VFDs, and control panels is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
