Electrical Supervisor

As an Electrical InCharge in a busy drilling machine shop located in Kakinada, India, your role involves leading electrical maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure uptime, safety, and optimal performance of various equipment like motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe machines, and welding/drilling support systems. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily electrical maintenance and quickly diagnose faults in machine shop equipment. - Manage, program, and troubleshoot VFDs, motors, PLCs, and CNC/lathe-related electrical systems. - Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, maintain spares inventory, and organize repair activities to minimize downtime. - Provide support for welding and drilling equipment electrical issues and assist production teams during breakdowns. - Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site PPE rules. - Train and mentor junior electricians and contractors, while maintaining clear maintenance records and reports. Required Experience & Skills: - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance at manufacturing or industrial sites. - Demonstrated expertise with motors, VFDs, CNC/lathe systems, welding, and drilling support equipment. - Strong troubleshooting skills covering control circuits, power distribution, and PLC/VFD interfaces. - Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices and safety compliance. - Good communication, documentation skills, and ability to work effectively under production pressures. - Willingness to join immediately and relocate to Kakinada.
