Electrical Superviser

• Carry out routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machines, and panels.
• Maintain motors, drives, lighting systems, earthing, transformers, and control panels.
• Check, diagnose, and repair faults in equipment like MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and HT/LT panels.
• Install new machines or relocate electrical connections as per layout changes or project requirements.
• Perform wiring and cabling for machines, distribution boards, and power sockets.
• Ensure proper insulation, earthing, and load balancing during installation.
• Identify and rectify faults in electrical circuits, equipment, or automation systems promptly.
• Use appropriate tools like multimeters, megger testers, clamp meters, etc., for fault diagnosis.
• Replace defective components like fuses, relays, contactors, switches, etc.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures as per company and statutory norms.
• Ensure lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures are followed during repairs.
• Comply with Factory Act, Electrical Inspector norms, and ISO/IMS safety protocols.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown records.
• Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce downtime.
• Support electrical supervisors during audits and inspections.
• Provide electrical support in all plant shifts (rotational shifts if applicable).
• Attend emergency breakdowns and support production team during urgent maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (3-phase, HT/LT, control circuits)
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Hands-on with tools and safety equipment
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Awareness of energy-saving and EHS practices
