Electrical & Mechanical Technicians

As an Electrical & Mechanical Technician at our leading company operating in the Middle Eastern region, specializing in the maritime and port industry, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems in port equipment and machinery. With 2-4 years of experience preferred in port operations, your hands-on expertise will be valuable in ensuring the smooth functioning and safety standards of our equipment within the port. Your responsibilities will include performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various systems such as cranes, forklifts, and conveyors. Regular inspections to uphold proper functioning and safety standards, as well as quick responses to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime, will be key aspects of your role. Compliance with safety regulations, assisting in the installation of new machinery, and collaborating with team members for operational efficiency are also important duties. To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently. Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Candidates with relevant experience in port or maritime operations and certifications/training in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (e.g., ITI, Diploma, etc.) will have an advantage.
