Job Description

Job Location: Moga, Punjab Preferred candidate industry: F&B FMCG Key Responsibilities: Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems including transformers, power distribution networks, motors, etc. Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment. Monitor and improve equipment uptime, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Maintain and update electrical documentation, drawings, and schematics. Ensure compliance with IE Rules, and safety norms. Liaise with government bodies for inspections, licenses, and audits. Implement and monitor electrical safety procedures (e.g., LOTO, earthing systems). Lead, prepare technical specifications and evaluate proposals w.r.t. electrical aspects of new installations, electrical systems, or plant upgrades. Support cross-functional teams during commissioning of new equipment or utilities. Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation and cost reduction. Energy efficiency projects in line with sustainability goals. Maintain power factor and optimize electrical load distribution. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and technicians. Conduct skill gap analysis and arrange necessary training programs. Foster a culture of accountability, Kaizen. Maintain maintenance logs, failure analysis reports, and compliance documentation. Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on breakdowns, energy usage, and KPI performance. Qualifications & Experience: B. Tech/ M. Tech in Electrical Engineering 8 to 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an FMCG / Food & Beverage Manufacturing organization. Hands-on knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems, HT/LT systems, UPS, VFDs, and utility systems. Familiar with HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, and relevant standards.
