Electrical Engineering Specialist

As an SME - Operations Electrical, you will be responsible for providing expert oversight and strategic management of the data center's electrical systems. Your primary focus will be ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of the electrical systems with industry standards. This role will require you to lead improvement initiatives, collaborate with teams to solve problems, mentor junior staff, and support the facility's growth through robust electrical operations. Your educational background should include a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Tier 1 Colleges, combined with a minimum of 18-20 years of experience in the Data Centers industry. Key Responsibilities: - Electrical Systems Management: Offer expert guidance and oversight in operating and maintaining electrical systems within data center facilities. - Strategic Optimization: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of electrical packages. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, minimizing operational impact. - Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular assessments and audits of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Technical Support: Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members, fostering continuous learning and professional development. - Incident Resolution: Develop and implement effective incident response protocols and workflows to ensure timely troubleshooting and issue resolution, minimizing service disruptions with proper CAPA. - Design Validation and witnessing T&C Activities: Ensure no Single Point of Failure (SPOF) and gaps in the design, aligning Standard Operating Procedures (SOO) & Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
