Role Overview: You will be joining Hitachi Energy's Transformers Business team in Vadodara, India as an Electrical Engineering Senior Professional. Your role will involve contributing to transforming energy and delivering social, environmental, and economic value for a sustainable energy future. Hitachi Energy's portfolio includes power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors, and transformer services for various sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Design and engineer power transformers adhering to Indian and International Standards - Align with manufacturing plans and understand customer requirements - Conduct design verification and organize project documentation - Identify risks, participate in design review meetings, and support project monitoring and technical services - Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech (Electrical) or M.E/M.Tech/M.S degree with a specialization in High Voltage, Power System, or Electrical Machines - 12+ years of industry experience in Electrical designing of Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors - Proficiency in Power Transformer Electrical Design, Thermal, Dielectrics, Short circuit, and sound performance - Experience with other transformer products and knowledge of 2-D and 3-D CAD software packages is advantageous - Ability to work on optimization and cost-saving projects, along with proficiency in English language If you are passionate about contributing to Hitachi Energy's transformative initiatives and meet the qualifications mentioned above, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position based in Maneja, Gujarat, India.
