Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Procurement Engineer, your role will involve preparing offers and quotations for clients, purchasing project materials within specified timelines, and determining key variables for cost and other estimates. You will be responsible for interacting with clients and vendors for technical detailing and support for procurement, as well as negotiating and finalizing technical details with client points of contact. You will also need to visit vendors or markets periodically and manage all tender-related responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare electrical tender details from the brief to the final draft stage - Develop and implement purchasing strategies - Manage supplier relations, negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc. - Develop cost estimates and coordinate proposals for estimating projects - Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.) - Implement maintenance strategies and procedures for electrical systems - Monitor and analyze electrical system performance, making necessary adjustments - Manage electrical engineering projects from conception through completion - Prepare project plans, timelines, budgets, and work schedules - Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project success Qualifications Required: - Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems - Experience in vendor development - Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies for electrical systems In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures for electrical systems.
