An Electrical Engineer in a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) contracting company plays a vital role in the execution and coordination of electrical systems in building projects. Here's a tailored job description: Key Responsibilities Design and implement electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems. Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure seamless integration of services. Supervise on-site installation and ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes. Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues. Prepare progress reports, material submittals, and inspection requests.
