Electrical Engineer

As an experienced Electrical Engineer at Mott MacDonald, your role will involve managing and overseeing infrastructure projects, including construction and maintenance of electrical HSD. Your responsibilities will include a combination of technical supervision, project management, and resource coordination to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution within budget and timelines. Main Responsibilities: - Coordinate design interface at the site for clients, resolving queries with the design team and ensuring planned progress. - Review drawings, assess work requirements, predict resources, and timelines for each activity. - Coordinate with contractors for timely deployment of resources, monitor progress, and prepare catch-up plans. - Conduct periodic review meetings with clients and contractors, ensuring compliance with construction schedules. - Review contractor's methods statements before work execution and ensure compliance with drawings. - Monitor construction progress, compliance with designs, and safety protocols. - Oversee material usage, equipment storage, and maintain accurate project documentation. - Conduct quality checks on electrical installations and equipment, develop quality control procedures, and manage snag lists. Qualifications Required: - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction drawings. - Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and power distribution. - Prior experience in industrial projects construction. - Knowledge of quality control principles and practices. Minimum Qualification: - Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering. - Experience: 4 to 5 years in industrial projects.
