Job Description

An electrical site engineer ensures electrical systems are installed, tested, and maintained correctly on a construction site, adhering to project requirements, safety standards, and regulations. Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Site Engineer: - Understanding and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements. - Supervising and coordinating electrical workers and subcontractors. - Overseeing the installation of electrical systems and equipment. - Inspecting and testing electrical installations and components to ensure compliance with standards. - Identifying and resolving electrical issues and faults. - Monitoring project progress and adherence to timelines and budgets. - Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards. - Preparing and maintaining records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work. - Reporting progress, issues, and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders. - Enforcing safety procedures and ensuring a safe working environment on site. - Adhering to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
