Job Description

As a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Engineer at Cleantech Industry Resources in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in designing, simulating, and deploying cutting-edge renewable energy solutions. With a focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems, your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing load profiles and engineering Battery Energy Storage Systems to meet project goals. - Demonstrating a clear understanding of battery design, selection, and sizing parameters to optimize battery sizes effectively. - Utilizing simulation tools like MATLAB and Homer for battery system sizing and performance modeling. - Developing battery container layouts in coordination with various engineering teams for installation packages. - Creating technical specifications and scopes of work for owners, engineering firms, and contractors. - Modeling energy storage system performance and integrating BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs for seamless operation. - Investigating design factors for efficiency, durability, and contractual requirements. - Conducting value engineering, engineering studies, cost analysis, and detailed designs. Qualifications & Experience: - Degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in power systems or renewable energy. - Minimum 6 years of experience in Renewable Energy Systems, including at least 3 years in BESS. - Proficiency in power system simulation tools like PSSE and DigSilent PowerFactory. - Experience with software tools like Homer Pro, Homer Grid, MATLAB, and others. - Strong project management skills and international experience. - Knowledge of hybrid renewable energy sources and microgrid systems.
