Electrical Engineer

You will be responsible for managing comprehensive site maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contract specifications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Executing day-to-day maintenance activities such as pavement, drainage, earthwork, retaining walls, structures, and plantation as per the approved maintenance program. - Supervising and ensuring adherence to contract specifications and approved methodologies. - Coordinating with contractors to achieve monthly maintenance targets and optimize resource utilization. - Preparing Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and assisting in Monthly Progress Report preparation. - Liaising with Independent Engineers for inspections and compliance, certifying bills of O&M contractors. - Reporting daily progress, cleaning, repair activities, and issues to the Section Maintenance Manager. - Optimizing lane availability for a smooth highway user experience. - Performing periodic rounds of patrolling to assess highway conditions, the need for maintenance, and attending to any incidents. In terms of Incident Management, your responsibilities will include: - Providing immediate assistance (medical services, ambulance, etc.) to highway users in case of accidents. - Ensuring removal of encroachment, road debris, and obstructions, cordoning incident/accident sites. - Assisting highway users in emergencies, coordinating with emergency services, and informing relevant authorities. - Directing the team for installing required road signage, documenting any damages to equipment/structures. - Completing thorough shift documentation across all operational modes. - Ensuring incident sites are secured with proper safety measures and signage. For Electrical Maintenance, you will be responsible for: - Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution systems and associated equipment. - Ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC), managing earthing and lighting arrestor serviceability. - Overseeing DG, UPS operations, and maintenance, managing MP, APFC, Capacitor panels. - Developing blueprints and managing the inventory of electrical fixtures, conducting billing and service management. - Inspecting and testing electrical components including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgears. - Installing computer cables, connecting jacks, and testing for proper operation, surveying electrical systems and circuits.
