Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Onsite Manager located in Visakhapatnam. The Onsite Manager will oversee daily operations at the site, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage staff efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, liaising with clients, handling logistics, and ensuring timely project completion. The role also involves monitoring inventory, preparing and submitting daily reports, and optimizing resource allocation. 📍 Location: Gangavaram Port, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh About the Role ZAM Engineering & Logistics is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering and operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation and PLC systems , along with a strong foundation in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of STS & RTG. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of India’s most advanced port facilities, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems across port facilities. STS & RTG Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based automation systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley/Schneider or equivalent). Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment, including motors, drives, switchgear, and control panels. Collaborate with operations and mechanical teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to energy efficiency projects. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or related field). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of STS & RTG. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial automation, and instrumentation. Familiarity with VFDs, SCADA, and control systems will be an added advantage. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. Good communication and teamwork skills.
