Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Vizhinjam Site, Kerala

Department: B.E- Electrical Engineering

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to plan, design, and oversee electrical infrastructure projects, including cabling systems and automation solutions. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Scope of Work

Electrical Infrastructure:
Design and supervise installation of electrical systems for industrial and infrastructure projects.
Cabling:
Manage routing, laying, and termination of LV/MV cables, ensuring proper testing and commissioning.
Automation Systems:
Implement and maintain PLC, SCADA, and other automation systems for process control.
Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, and automation technologies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and PLC programming.
Familiarity with QA/QC and HSE standards.
