Job Title: Electrical Engineer - HT/LT Systems, Renewable

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) electrical systems, with a strong focus on integrating renewable energy solutions, particularly solar energy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance, along with experience in solar energy projects and renewable energy integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• HT/LT Electrical Systems:

- Design, install, and maintain HT and LT electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations (like IE Rules, IEC standards)

- Conduct load calculations, fault analysis, and protection system design for HT/LT networks

- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in HT/LT systems, ensuring minimal downtime

• Renewable Energy & Solar Energy:

- Design and implement solar energy systems (ground-mounted, rooftop, hybrid with storage)

- Integrate renewable energy sources (solar, wind) into existing electrical grids, ensuring grid stability and compliance

- Conduct energy audits and feasibility studies for solar installations and energy efficiency improvements

- Evaluate and optimize performance of solar PV systems, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Project Management & Compliance:

- Manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, environmental norms, and local electrical codes (like CEA regulations in India)

- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams for project execution

• Documentation & Innovation:

- Maintain technical documentation, drawings (SLDs, layouts), and operation manuals for HT/LT and solar systems

- Stay updated on advancements in renewable energy, energy storage, and smart grid technologies; suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with specific experience in HT/LT systems and renewable/solar energy projects

- Experience in solar PV design, installation, and commissioning preferred

• Skills:

- Strong knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and earthing systems

- Proficiency in solar PV system design (using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope) and installation

- Experience with grid integration of renewables, energy storage systems (batteries), and energy management systems

- Familiarity with electrical safety standards (IEC 60364, IS 3043), CEA regulations, and local electrical codes in India

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications:

- Solar PV design/installation certifications (MNRE, NISE, or international certifications like PVsyst)

- HT/LT electrical installation and safety certifications (like those from BEE or relevant state electrical inspectorates)

- Experience in India-specific context:

- Familiarity with Indian grid codes, net metering policies, and solar/wind incentive schemes (like SECI bids, state-specific policies)

- Experience working with solar rooftop, ground-mounted projects, or hybrid renewable systems in India

- Software Skills:

- ETAP, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design

- PVsyst, Helioscope for solar PV design and simulation

- MS Project or similar tools for project management
