Electrical Designer

Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for Engineering of Electrical power System, and Instrumentation of Steam turbine, Generator and Balance of Plant considering full spectrum of design requirements catering functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Engineering of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control system, of Steam turbine Meeting the Country specific requirement & Classifications.
• Responsible for reviewing the Contract specification and converting to Engineering Documents and mentoring the team.
• Knowledge on the Grid code regulations.
• Preparation of Instrument documents, Verification of Vendor Documentation, control system design for the Steam Turbine.
• Prepare the FDS and logic development of Control, ESD System.
• Prepare and develop the control system design with Loop diagrams and data sheets of Instruments and Schedules.
• Prepare the Electrical System calculations, System study, Generator protection & Control System, Erection & Pre-commissioning documents.
• Knowledge on SIL Guidelines, SIF evaluation , Codes and standards.
• Knowledge on the power Evacuation system and Switchyard design.
• Knowledge on the Electrical component selections and product knowledge.
• Development of Erection & Commissioning drawings, handling site quires.
• Customer Engagement
• Managing team
• Experience in CAD / E-plan / ETAB software.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with minimum 10+ years of professional experience in rotating equipment heavy industry.
• Knowledge on SIL, Grid Compliance.
• Training and Mentoring Junior Engineers.
