Electrical Designer

As an Electrical Engineer, your role involves producing drawings with high quality and within set timelines according to Electrical and MEP engineering standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Generating drawings such as GFC, Shop Drawings, Elevation Layouts, As built Layouts, and Coordination Layouts. - Ensuring drawings adhere to international engineering standards with detailed information on layers, dimensions, clearances, clashes, and BOQ references. - Adding accurate details like client and project stakeholder names, approval and revision details, dates, and drawing statuses to all drawings. - Organizing and storing soft copies of drawings in the company archive for future use. - Creating both rough sketches and detailed work using CAD systems. - Conducting material and weight limitation calculations. - Submitting drawings for approval and following up with project team, PMC, client, and consultant. - Collaborating with engineers and integrating acquired knowledge into drawings. - Reviewing and redrafting drawings with the engineering team. - Ensuring final designs comply with building regulations. - Identifying and reporting potential design issues to the team. - Quantifying all line items in the GFC, shop drawing, or as built layout for estimation, material requisition, or project use. - Monitoring project progress regularly to track changes in status. You will work under the supervision of the Asst Manager-Design and Estimation Engineer, handling all tasks assigned by MD/Asst. Manager-Designs. Qualification & Preferred Skills: - BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3-4 years of experience. - Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Google Workspace. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently.
