Position Overview:

Electrical Designer

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering

  or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience

  in electrical design for

  utility-scale solar PV projects

  (ground-mounted).
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  , PVsyst (basic understanding), and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of

  electrical codes and standards

  (IEC, IS, CEA regulations).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop

  electrical design layouts

  for large-scale ground-mounted solar PV plants, including

  single-line diagrams (SLDs)

  , cable routing, and termination details.
• Prepare

  detailed engineering drawings

  using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
• Design

  AC/DC electrical systems

  , including inverter stations, switchgear, transformers, and grid interconnection points.
• Perform

  cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and load flow analysis

  to ensure optimal system performance.
