This requires continuous engagement with customers virtually / physically and enhancement of skills, to take a leading step in the industry. This attracts 6 to 8 years of commissioning of switchgear and protection systems, with exposure not limited to Siemens numerical relays. Experience of integrating electrical substations assets over SCADA or cloud will have an edge for this role. Also, it is important to mention, any cyber systems are incomplete without the essence of cybersecurity.
Job description:
- Analyzing customers requirement and assisting right from order acquisition stage.
- Support sales to prepare prescriptions for offering customers what they really want.
- Preparation of technical BoQ, for proposing the optimized solution to customers w.r.t the tendering specifications / customer requirements.
- Analyzing acquired order requirements and proposing an optimized solution to the customer.
- Preparation of technical / engineering documentation for the project and getting approval from the customer.
- Collaborating across the teams to ensure seamless integration of proposed solution.
- Loading factory for procurement and manufacturing complete electrical protection solution for switchgears, control & relay panels and SAS Schematics.
- Configuration and parameterization of solutions to customers and getting the system ready for FAT.
- Commissioning and on-boarding of non-typical solutions at site on case-to-case basis.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in electrical, electronics and communication engineering.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience comprising of commissioning of switchgear and protection systems at site.
- Experience of configuring and commissioning of numerical relays of Siemens and other makes not limited to 7S series, RE series and P / G series relays.
- Experience of configuring IEC stations and integration with automation systems.
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 products.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to relocate and travel globally as and when required.
