Job Description

Position: Electrical Design Engineer

Location:

Thane

Experience:

3+ years

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:

Design electrical control systems, circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and layouts for textile machineries using CAD software.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other team members to develop new products or improve existing designs for machinery.
Perform electrical analysis, including circuit design, power distribution, load analysis, and fault detection to ensure the efficiency and safety of systems.
Ensure proper integration of electrical components with mechanical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and HMI in textile machinery.
Develop prototypes and conduct testing of electrical systems to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, specifications, and electrical drawings.
Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues during the manufacturing and installation phases.
Assist in project planning and manage the execution of electrical design projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Work closely with purchase, production, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
Coordinate with the R&D team to develop new technology and integrate it into machine designs.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in textile machinery and incorporate them into designs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
A Master's degree or additional certifications is a plus.
Proven experience of 3-4 years in electrical design and development, preferably in textile machinery or similar manufacturing industries.
Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD).
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
