Ekloud - Salesforce Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Selenium/Provar Testing Tool

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to drive quality assurance across our Salesforce ecosystem. This role demands a hands-on professional who combines deep experience in both manual and automated testing with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure Salesforce applications through rigorous and strategic testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Strategy & Execution :

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive QA frameworks for Salesforce applications, covering both manual and automated testing approaches.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Drive end-to-end testing initiatives across various Salesforce modules, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom Force.com applications.
• Identify quality risks and create effective mitigation strategies to ensure test coverage and risk reduction.
  

Automation Focus

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Provar, TestNG, and Apex Test Execution.
• Integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline to enable shift-left testing and continuous delivery.
• Lead initiatives in test automation coverage, including regression testing, smoke testing, and performance validation.
  

Manual Testing Leadership

• Lead manual testing efforts, especially in exploratory, usability, and acceptance testing phases.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely logging, tracking, and closure using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and review sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure requirement traceability and alignment.
  

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to define testable requirements and identify automation opportunities.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce best practices in testing standards and methodologies.
• Deliver clear, concise test status reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience

For QA Lead-Level Profiles (10+ years) :

• Proven experience leading QA initiatives in Salesforce environments with complex business workflows.
• Ability to architect test strategies for large-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Expertise in managing QA teams, reviewing automation code, and aligning QA strategy with delivery goals.
• Experience with end-to-end release testing cycles including UAT, regression, and performance testing.
  

For QA Tester-Level Profiles (5+ years) :

• Solid experience in Salesforce manual testing, test case creation, execution, and regression analysis.
• Strong command over QA concepts, SDLC/STLC, and test design techniques.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and Salesforce Inspector.
• Exposure to API testing and integration validations using REST and SOAP tools.
