Job Title: Operations Executive – Non-Motor Insurance Department: Operations Location: Andheri Reporting to: Operations Manager / Team Lead Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage backend operations for Non-Motor insurance. The role will include claims coordination, policy issuance, negotiation with insurers for quotes, and overall process efficiency in lines such as fire, marine, engineering, and liability insurance. 1. Quote Management & Negotiation Coordinate with insurers to obtain competitive quotes for Fire, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and other non-motor products Analyze and negotiate policy terms and premiums with insurers Maintain quote logs and ensure timely submission of quotes to sales or clients 2. Policy Issuance & Endorsements Ensure end-to-end processing of policy issuance and endorsements within agreed TATs Verify all proposal forms, declarations, schedules, and risk details before submission to the insurer Follow up with insurers to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance Coordinate for mid-term endorsements, cancellations, and renewals 3. Documentation & Compliance Maintain proper documentation for each transaction, including proposal forms, premium payments, invoices, and endorsements Ensure adherence to IRDAI norms and internal audit/compliance protocols Coordinate with internal teams for data accuracy and documentation completeness 4. MIS & Reporting Create and update daily/weekly trackers for: Policies issued Endorsements processed Renewal status Quote pipelines Generate periodic reports for internal stakeholders and management review 5. Internal & External Coordination Work closely with the sales, underwriting, and insurer teams to resolve operational queries Provide backend support for proposal submissions, quote requests, and policy issuance Communicate policy-related updates and pending requirements with internal and external stakeholders Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of Non-Motor products like Fire, Marine, Liability, Engineering, etc. Proficiency in insurance policy issuance and endorsement workflows Excellent coordination and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Excel and insurance operating systems Good written and verbal communication Qualifications & Experience: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Insurance background preferred) III Certification (Licentiate/Associate) is an added advantage 1–3 years of experience in Non-Motor insurance operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
