EDVT Lead

Responsibilities:

Perform system-level hardware testing and debugging, including SI, OS image, board-level, and system-level issue resolution for switches and routers

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and documentation, ensuring accurate tabulation and reporting of test results

Utilize scripting and automation skills in Python or TCL/TK for hardware and system validation

Conduct manual and automated thermal chamber testing (Corner testing from -40C to 70C)

Work in Linux or Unix environments for system configuration and analysis

Configure complex router and traffic equipment interfaces such as Ethernet, POS, ATM, Serial, E1/T1

Perform L2/L3 testing, including BGP, MPLS, and VRF protocols using traffic generators like IXIA or Spirent

Lead a team of over 5 engineers, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and manufacturing

Participate in hardware product development cycles, tracking bugs, maintaining reports, and supporting prototype testing and firmware updates
