The community at Ekya is dedicated to fostering lifelong learners who are prepared to thrive in a dynamic and evolving world. **Key Responsibilities:** - Adhere to international benchmarked curriculum standards tailored to the educational needs of students - Make relevant connections between the learning area and the current global scenario - Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy in developing effective lesson plans - Design coherent instructions to engage students in independent thinking - Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and tools to address different learners - Collaborate with the School Counselor, Coordinators, and Head of School to provide academic, non-academic, and social support to students - Conduct remedial sessions for students as needed - Incorporate project-based and hands-on learning strategies to encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration - Create a welcoming and positive classroom culture - Integrate Ekya's philosophy into teaching and learning through cross-functional collaboration - Attend professional development sessions to enhance knowledge and skills - Communicate and cooperate with school staff, parents/guardians in the best interest of students - Plan and execute educational activities and events both in-class and outdoors while ensuring student safety **Key Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelors of Education or Masters of Education in the relevant subject area - Experience: Teaching experience in IGCSE or other international curricula is highly beneficial - Skills: Understanding of the IGCSE framework and assessment methods is essential.
