Education Counselor

You will be responsible for guiding students in making informed academic, personal, and career-related decisions. This will involve assessing students" strengths and needs, creating personalized education plans, and providing ongoing support for their holistic development. You will work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure that students reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: - Help students select appropriate courses and plan their academic journey. - Support the development of effective study habits and academic strategies. - Assist students in exploring career paths and making informed decisions about their futures. - Provide guidance on college selection, application processes, and scholarship opportunities. - Offer support for students" personal growth and conduct personalized counseling sessions. - Create and monitor Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. - Coordinate with parents, teachers, and staff to create a supportive learning environment. - Resolve student-related issues through joint planning and intervention. - Refer students to external specialists when necessary. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, or HR for holistic support. Required Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. - Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism.
