Node.js is a runtime environment utilized for executing JavaScript on the server-side. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be expected to possess a robust understanding of Node.js, encompassing event-driven programming, asynchronous operations, and server-side scripting. Your responsibilities will involve working with MongoDB, a NoSQL database, for data storage and retrieval. Proficiency in writing queries, setting up database schemas, and performing CRUD operations is essential. Additionally, a strong command over version control systems, like Git, is crucial for collaborating with fellow developers, managing code repositories, and tracking project changes. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be accountable for full-stack web application development, encompassing both frontend and backend development. This involves building user interfaces, developing APIs, and integrating frontend and backend components. Furthermore, deployment of applications to production environments, server configuration, and performance monitoring will fall under your purview. Routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, bug fixes, and security patches, will also be part of your responsibilities.
