Core responsibilities

• Student profile assessment:

   Evaluate students' academic history, goals, and preferences to recommend suitable programs and countries.

• University and program selection:

   Provide expert advice on international institutions and programs that align with the student's objectives.

• Application assistance:

   Help students with the complex application process, including preparing documents like statements of purpose (SOPs), resumes, and transcripts.

• Visa and admissions guidance:

   Assist students with navigating visa applications and provide guidance on meeting admission requirements.

• Financial aid and scholarship support:

   Advise on scholarships, education loans, and other financial aid options.

• Pre-departure services:

   Help with travel arrangements, accommodation, health insurance, and pre-departure orientations.

• Ongoing support:

   Offer support to students after they arrive, including help with cultural adaptation and emergency situations.

• Knowledge management:

   Stay up-to-date on international education systems, admission requirements, and new developments in the field.

Required skills and qualifications:-

• Education:

   A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Education, Counseling, or a related area is often required.

• Experience:

   Previous experience in educational counseling, student advising, or admissions is beneficial.

• Skills:

   Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Excellent presentation skills are also valuable for conducting seminars and webinars.

• Knowledge:

   A deep understanding of international education systems and admission processes is necessary.

• Additional skills:

   Empathy, patience, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are important qualities for working with students and families. Fluency in multiple languages is a significant plus. 

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Education Consultant based in New Delhi, with the flexibility of partial work-from-home options. The Education Consultant will work closely with clients and students to provide tailored guidance and solutions regarding education choices, programs, and opportunities. Daily tasks include conducting consultations, researching education programs, maintaining strong communication with clients, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective solutions and support.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the education or consulting industry is a plus
