Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage an international portfolio of scientific journals, ensuring high-quality editorial processes and adherence to publishing ethics.
Provide operational leadership and project management for editorial activities.
Oversee day-to-day tasks of the editorial team and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Implement editorial policies, standards, and best practices.
Conduct meetings, site visits, and maintain strong communication with authors, reviewers, and publishers.

Skills & Qualifications:

PhD or Masters degree, preferably in Life Sciences or Medicine.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the academic publishing industry.
At least 3 years of proven operational leadership and project management experience.
In-depth knowledge of publishing ethics, editorial policy, procedures, and practices.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and spoken English).
Highly collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and high personal accountability.
Willingness to undertake national travel as required.
