Editorial Assistant
- Content management – Proofread, edit, and fact-check articles, blog posts, newsletters, and social media copy.
- Research support – Gather sources, verify data, and create bibliographies or citations.
- Manuscript coordination – Track submissions, manage author communications, and maintain workflow calendars.
- Publication prep – Format documents (MS Word, InDesign, PDFs), generate SEO metadata, and upload content to CMS.
- Collaboration – Work with writers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure brand voice and deadlines are met.
- Administrative tasks – Keep style guides updated, handle correspondence, and assist with editorial planning meetings.
Key Skills
- Strong grammar, punctuation, and copy-editing abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite, InDesign (or similar layout tools), and basic SEO.
