Editorial Assistant

As an Editorial Assistant at Amnet, a publishing services vendor, you will be an integral part of the US-based editorial project management team. Your role will involve working with university presses, trade publishers, and educational publishers to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position is full-time and remote, although it is required that you be based in the United States. To qualify for this position, you must hold a B.A. or B.S. degree. You should have a minimum of six months of successful experience in roles such as administrative support for a busy team, editorial project management, copy editing, CE review, or reviewing page proofs. Proficiency in tools like Smartsheet, Google Sheets, or Excel is highly desirable. Your responsibilities will include managing freelancers, preparing quotes, tracking projects, invoicing, and providing support to the editorial team. You should possess excellent organizational and written communication skills. Being self-directed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic are key qualities that will contribute to your success in this role.
