Job Description

This position is responsible for all aspects of EDI operations within the organization. The role involves providing enterprise-wide EDI

process and configuration solutions using SAP ERP, Middleware, and EDI systems. The individual will act as a Relationship Manager

between the B2B EDI Integration Service provider and trading partners, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

The person will serve as the first point of contact for trading partners and internal teams for B2B EDI issues and related business

relationship concerns. They will act as the primary interface between the EDI provider and all Panasonic Business Units and departments,

working to determine requirements, develop optimal solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the role includes leading EDI project implementations, managing projects from planning through execution, and conducting

post-project monitoring to evaluate success. The candidate will also ensure that EDI strategies and operational tools are aligned with

overall business objectives and functioning effectively.

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage EDI set-up and processes for all PNA companies (PCONA, PESNA, PCEC, PIDSA, PECSA, PECNA, PPA)
  • Manage IBM Sterling to achieve business requirements
  • Administer intake/onboarding demands, manage incidents with vendor (IBM Sterling), billing (with PEXNA-PISCA Finance)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, within 7:00am - 6:00pm normal work day, required.
  • Ability to work beyond normal workday as workload and business needs dictate, throughout the month
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Good Management, interpersonal skills and leadership skills required.

Education & Experience:

  • College Degree required/preferred
  • Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience (EDI)
  • Relevant Project experience required
  • Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Excellent Working knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of sales operations processes and tools
  • Solid understanding of business conditions, environment and sales company organization
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively between multiple departments and Sales Organizations
  • Ability to identify and expedite critical issues
  • Ability to follow-up and insure tasks are completed to the satisfaction of the business.

  • Detail oriented Communications:


  • Key communications contacts (internal/external) and level of persuasion required
  • Regular communications with all levels of business unit, vendor and PNA IT management
  • Ability to influence and persuade business management in the areas of developing sound and practical IT solutions
  • Comfortable in difficult situations and in managing conflict
  • Ability to write clear, concise emails to quickly explain status and to generate the correct response
  • Good writing / documentation skills
