Ecommerce Intern

About the Role

Are you passionate about online shopping, product listings, and digital marketplaces? Silvermerc Designs Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated E-Commerce Intern to support our online sales operations and get real-world exposure to the backend of major e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Product Listings & Management

• Upload and manage product listings on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, and the company website
• Write clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized product descriptions
• Ensure product details, prices, and images are up to date

Order Processing & Inventory Tracking

• Assist in managing orders, shipments, and returns
• Coordinate with the operations team to track stock levels and replenishments
• Update inventory and stock data on dashboards

Sales Monitoring & Reporting

• Track daily/weekly online sales and performance metrics
• Help prepare sales and inventory reports
• Analyze trends and suggest optimizations

Customer Communication

• Handle basic customer inquiries and reviews on e-commerce portals
• Monitor feedback and escalate concerns where needed

Platform Optimization & Research

• Research competitors’ listings and pricing strategies
• Explore new platforms and sales opportunities
• Learn marketplace algorithms to improve visibility and sales

What We’re Looking For

Passion for e-commerce, digital sales, and marketplaces
Familiarity with platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio (plus point)Basic knowledge of Excel/Google SheetsStrong communication and coordination skillsDetail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
