As an experienced Email Marketing Specialist in the ecommerce industry, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for various promotions, product launches, and seasonal offers. - Create and manage automated workflows including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back emails. - Craft engaging and conversion-focused email content that resonates with the brand voice. - Segment audiences based on their purchase behavior, demographics, and engagement levels. - Monitor and optimize key email performance metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, and unsubscribe rate. - Conduct A/B testing for subject lines, visuals, and call-to-action buttons to enhance campaign effectiveness. - Collaborate closely with design and ecommerce teams to maintain brand consistency and ensure effective product presentation. - Ensure compliance with email marketing laws such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR. - Utilize email marketing tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, or HubSpot to effectively manage campaigns. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 3 years of experience in email marketing, with a preference for experience in the ecommerce sector. - Proficiency in working with email automation platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc. - Strong copywriting skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling in ecommerce. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and implement improvements. - Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar systems would be advantageous.
