Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Dynatrace Architect to lead the design implementation and optimization of our observability and monitoring ecosystem using Dynatrace The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in application performance monitoring APM cloud observability and system integrations ensuring end to end visibility reliability and performance of critical business applications

Key Responsibilities

Architecture and Design

Define and implement Dynatrace architecture across enterprise applications infrastructure and cloud environments

Develop monitoring strategies and blueprints for scalable and efficient APM solutions

Implementation and Configuration

Lead installation configuration and integration of Dynatrace OneAgent ActiveGate Synthetic RUM etc across hybrid ecosystems cloud on premises

Configure dashboards custom metrics alerts and service level objectives SLOs

Performance Management

Monitor and analyze system application performance metrics to proactively identify bottlenecks errors and anomalies

Collaborate with DevOps Infrastructure and Application teams to improve reliability and performance

Automation and Integration

Integrate Dynatrace with CICD pipelines ITSM tools ServiceNow Jira and cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP

Develop automation scripts for agent deployment monitoring setup and configuration management

Governance and Best Practices

Establish APM standards policies and best practices for observability and monitoring

Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data governance policies

Troubleshooting and Optimization

Lead root cause analysis using Dynatrace data and insights

Continuously refine alerting rules to reduce noise and increase actionable insights

Training and Leadership

Mentor teams in using Dynatrace dashboards custom metrics and alerting

Provide guidance on observability maturity and adoption of modern monitoring practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

8 -12 years of IT experience with at least 3 5 years in Dynatrace architecture and implementation

Strong expertise in Dynatrace components OneAgent ActiveGate Synthetic Monitoring Real User Monitoring RUM Davis AI Smartscape

Application performance monitoring APM and infrastructure monitoring

Distributed tracing log analytics and service flow mapping

Hands on experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and Kubernetes Docker monitoring

Knowledge of integration tools and APIs REST APIs Webhooks ITSM connectors

Familiarity with CICD tools Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code Terraform Ansible

Excellent problem solving analytical and communication skills

Experience in incident management SRE or performance engineering roles is a plus
