Job Summary:

The Lady Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is responsible for providing continuous medical care to inpatients, assisting senior doctors in medical procedures, and ensuring the overall well-being of female patients. She plays a critical role in emergency care, patient monitoring, and clinical decision-making under the supervision of consultants and senior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:Patient Care & Medical Management:

  • Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients and handle emergencies promptly.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans based on clinical diagnosis.
  • Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including CPR, airway management, and trauma care.
  • Assist in the management of pre- and post-operative patients.

Coordination with Medical Team:

  • Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals regarding patient conditions and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Assist in medical procedures and minor surgeries as required.

Patient Education & Support:

  • Counsel female patients on their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Address concerns related to women’s health, maternity, and gynecological issues.
  • Provide guidance on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications.

Hospital Administration & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control measures, and hygiene protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, clinical audits, and training programs.
  • Supervise and train junior medical officers, interns, and nursing staff when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Fresh graduates may also apply.
  • Skills:
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
