Department: Front Office
Location: Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
Reports To: FO Manager/ Security Manager

Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, punctual, and courteous transportation services for hotel guests, management, and official purposes. The role requires maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and confidentiality in line with the service excellence expected at a 5-star hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport hotel guests, management, and staff as per assigned schedules.
• Ensure timely airport transfers, guest pick-ups, drop-offs, and official errands.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall condition of the vehicle at all times.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks including fuel, oil, water, tires, brakes, and lights.
• Ensure all vehicle documents (RC, insurance, permits, pollution certificate) are valid and available.
• Follow traffic rules, hotel safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide courteous service during transit.
• Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to the concerned authority.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Support other administrative or operational tasks when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) / Commercial Driving License.
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of local routes, tourist locations, and airport roads in and around Kovalam / Trivandrum.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
