CAD modelling - Solid works, UG_NX must
Machine design, Casteing, Roto mould plastic part design, Sheet meatl design
PCB layout and Gerber review
Awareness of NPD processes
Mechanical calculations
6-12 years of experience in Mechanical products such as castings/Sheet metal/Plastics.
Must have strong experience in castings and sheet metal, VAVE ideas. Must have 3+ years of experience in Solidworks (2019 or latest) with surface modelling, drawing and assembly. Highly preferred Tool or mould Design Knowledge and/or experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Mechanical Product Design using Solidworks is must for the job. Capable of offering various concept designs and solutions to the design problems by considering DFM/DFA/DFMEA principles. Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Basics on Tolerance Stack up Analysis. Good Knowledge in PLM design release process BE in Mechanical or Automobile, Plastics Engineering OR Diploma/Post-Diploma in Mould Design or Tool & Die Design. NX & Creo experience will be an advantage. Any simulation or analysis of mechanical products will be an advantage
