Drawing Fiter/Fabricator

Drawing Fabricator/Fitter Responsibilities:

• As Drawing fitter in fabrication is a skilled professional responsible for assembling and fitting metal components according to technical drawings and specifications, performing tasks such as measuring, marking, cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic welding under supervision. This role requires a keen eye for detail, physical fitness, and the ability to interpret blueprints and operate various hand and power tools. Key Responsibilities of a Drawing Fitter in Fabrication:
• Reading and Interpreting Drawings:Understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to determine materials, dimensions, and assembly sequences.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, measurement techniques, and blueprint interpretation.
• Manual Dexterity and Precision: Ability to perform detailed and repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Physical Stamina: Suitable for physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
• Teamwork and Communication: Effectively coordinate with co-workers and communicate requirements.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring accuracy and quality in fitting and assembly.
• Fabrication Operations:Perform detailed fitting operations on metal components, including measuring, marking out, sawing, grinding, drilling, chiseling, threading, and tapping.
• Component Assembly:Assemble and fit metal sections and plates to form complete units or subunits using various methods like welding and bolting.
• Basic Welding and Cutting:Conduct basic oxy-fuel gas cutting and manual arc welding (MMAW/SMAW) as per instructions and under supervision.
• Inspection and Quality Control:Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet specifications and are free from defects.
• Tool and Equipment Operation:Safely operate and maintain various hand tools and power machinery used in fabrication.
• Workplace Safety and Maintenance:Adhere to health and safety practices, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure proper functioning of equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
