Draughtsman/Woman

You will be joining Akorita India Pvt. Ltd., a premier interior design firm based in Gurugram, as a 2D Draughtsman. Your role will involve creating detailed 2D drawings, floor plans, and layouts for interior design projects using CAD software. Collaboration with interior designers and project managers to understand project requirements and aesthetics will be essential. Additionally, you will conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements and assess space conditions. Your responsibilities will include revising and updating drawings based on client feedback and design changes, maintaining organized records of drafts and project documentation, and ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes and standards. You will assist in preparing project presentations and visual materials, requiring a strong background in interior design drafting and proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. To excel in this role, you should have a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field. Previous experience as a 2D Draughtsman in interior design is preferred. A deep understanding of interior design principles, materials, and finishes, excellent attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are crucial. You should also possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, along with strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
