Draughtsman

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman with expertise in interior design projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed furniture/fit-out plans that translate design concepts into reality. This role requires precision, creativity, and proficiency in CAD software, with a strong understanding of interior materials and finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed 2D drawings, furniture layouts, joinery details, and shop drawings for interior projects.

· Convert design concepts, sketches, and client requirements into accurate working drawings.

· Coordinate with designers, site engineers, and project managers to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

· Revise and update drawings as per client feedback or site requirements.

· Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

· Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements and prepare “as-built” drawings.

· Ensure drawings comply with design standards, safety codes, and project timelines.

Requirements:

· Diploma/ITI in Draughtsman ship (Architectural/Interior) or equivalent.

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the interior design/fit-out industry.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and knowledge of SketchUp/3Ds Max/Revit will be an added advantage.

· Strong knowledge of interior materials, joinery, furniture details, and finishes.

· Ability to interpret design intent and prepare precise working drawings.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.
