Draftsman (Multi-Discipline)

Role Purpose

To prepare accurate 2D drawings and documentation for multi-discipline deliverables (Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation) under the guidance of senior draftsmen and engineers. The role involves producing drawings in MicroStation/AutoCAD, incorporating revisions/markups, and ensuring compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings such as layouts, schematics, wiring/termination diagrams, GA drawings, and installation details.
• Develop drawings based on engineer markups, redlines, and as-built information.
• Ensure all deliverables follow client/EPC drafting standards and templates.
• Update drawings through multiple revision cycles (Rev-0, Rev-1, etc.).
• Maintain title blocks, drawing numbers, and revision histories.
• Coordinate with engineers and senior draftsmen for inputs and clarifications.
• Assist with plotting, conversions, and document formatting for submission.
• Work on outputs extracted from 3D models (E3D/Plant3D/Tekla) as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Drafting discipline.
• 2-3 years of drafting experience in EPC/EPCM projects (offshore/onshore).
• Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Basic exposure to 3D-to-2D workflows (E3D, Plant3D, Tekla) preferred.
• Knowledge of international drafting standards (IEC/ISO) and EPC client templates.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under supervision.
• Good teamwork, time management, and willingness to learn new tools/automation.
