Draftsman- Mining

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts for mining or industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAD software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for projects using CAD software.
• Convert conceptual sketches and ideas from engineers into precise drawings.
• Update and revise drawings based on project changes or feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing archives.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, safety guidelines, and project specifications.
• Support site teams by providing drawings and clarifications during execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Mining Engineering or Draftsmanship.
• 3 year diploma in mining engineering or Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related engineering field like Mining Engineering Technology
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman (mining or heavy industry preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards and conventions.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering designs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
